Terms of Service

These terms govern your use of hostsyro.com, operated by Hostsyro from Denmark in the European Union. By using the site or creating an account you accept them.

Last updated: 31 July 2026

1. What Hostsyro is

Hostsyro is an independent comparison and information site for web hosting, game server hosting and domain registration. We are not a hosting provider, a domain registrar or a reseller. We do not sell hosting, take payments for hosting, or act as an agent for any provider listed on the site.

Any contract you enter into is between you and the hosting company you buy from. Their terms, refund policy and support obligations apply — not ours.

2. Prices and specifications may differ at the host

Prices, plan specifications, promotions, coupon values, server locations and features shown on Hostsyro are indicative only and may be different when you visit the provider's website. Our listings are compiled and updated manually and periodically, and hosting companies change their offers frequently and without notifying us. Keeping hundreds of plans in sync takes time, so there will be periods where our data lags behind the provider.

  • The price and terms shown at the provider's checkout always take precedence over anything shown on Hostsyro.
  • Introductory prices frequently renew at a higher rate. Always check the renewal price, contract length and currency on the provider's own site before buying.
  • Currency conversion, VAT/MOMS and local taxes may be applied by the provider and are not necessarily reflected in the amounts we display.
  • Coupon codes are supplied by providers or affiliate networks. They can expire, be limited to new customers, or be withdrawn at any moment without notice to us.
  • Availability of a domain extension (TLD) at a given host, and the results of any domain availability lookup on our site, are best-effort and not a reservation.

If you spot outdated information, please tell us at admin@hostsyro.com and we will correct it.

3. Affiliate links and how we are funded

Some outbound links to hosting providers are affiliate links, and we may earn a commission if you sign up through them. This never costs you more, and commission does not decide which providers we list, how they are ordered, or how member reviews are moderated. Full details are in our affiliate disclosure. We also display advertising, which is marked as such.

4. Your account

  • You must be at least 16 years old to create an account, or have consent from a holder of parental responsibility.
  • You are responsible for keeping your password and any two-factor codes secure. We strongly recommend enabling two-factor authentication in your account settings.
  • One account per person. Accounts created to manipulate reviews or ratings may be removed without notice.
  • You can change your password, export your data or delete your account at any time from your account settings.

5. Reviews and user content

Reviews must describe your own genuine experience with the provider. We publish reviews after moderation and we may reject or remove content that is false, defamatory, unlawful, spam, off-topic, contains personal data about other people, or that appears to be incentivised or written by a provider or a competitor.

  • You keep ownership of what you write, and grant Hostsyro a worldwide, royalty-free licence to publish, display and distribute it on the site and in related previews for as long as your account or the review exists.
  • Editing a published review returns it to moderation before it appears again.
  • You can delete your own reviews at any time from your account.
  • We do not offer paid removal of negative reviews, and providers cannot buy the deletion of a review.

6. Acceptable use

You agree not to:

  • scrape, bulk-download or systematically copy our listings, reviews or comparison data without written permission;
  • attempt to break, overload, probe or bypass the security of the site or its accounts;
  • use the domain availability tools to send automated bulk queries;
  • misrepresent yourself as staff of Hostsyro or of a hosting provider.

7. Intellectual property

The Hostsyro name, logo, site design, editorial guides and the compiled comparison database are ours or our licensors'. Provider names, logos and trademarks belong to their respective owners and are used for identification purposes only. You may quote short extracts of our guides with a visible link back to the source page.

8. Disclaimers and liability

The site is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis for general information. We take reasonable care to keep listings accurate, but we do not warrant that prices, specs, uptime claims, availability results or provider information are complete, current or error-free, and we are not responsible for the content, service quality, downtime, data loss or billing practices of any hosting provider.

To the extent permitted by law, Hostsyro is not liable for indirect or consequential loss, lost profits, lost data or losses arising from your contract with a hosting provider. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited under Danish or EU law — including liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, fraud, or your statutory rights as a consumer.

9. Changes to the site and these terms

We may add, change or remove listings, features and content at any time. If we make a material change to these terms we will update the date at the top of this page, and for account holders we will give reasonable notice by email or in-app notice before the change applies. Continuing to use the site after a change means you accept the updated terms.

10. Suspension and termination

You may stop using the site and delete your account at any time. We may suspend or close an account that breaches these terms, manipulates reviews, or is used unlawfully. Where the law requires it, we will tell you the reason and how to object; you can always contact admin@hostsyro.com to appeal a moderation or account decision, and we aim to answer within 14 days.

11. Governing law and disputes

These terms are governed by Danish law, without prejudice to the mandatory consumer protection rules of your country of residence in the EU/EEA. Disputes may be brought before the competent Danish courts, or before the courts of your own country of residence where consumer law allows.

EU consumers can also use the European Commission's online dispute resolution platform at consumer-redress.ec.europa.eu, or in Denmark contact Konkurrence- og Forbrugerstyrelsens Center for Klageløsning.
